The triangle pattern evokes a memory times past when entertainment travelled from small town to small town bringing color and excitement to otherwise drab and duty-filled life.

These earrings are a reminder to slow down and enjoy all the color and creativity of your days. 

Triangles have been used as a symbol to communicate hidden messages for thousands of years. A triangle represents manifestation, enlightenment, revelation, and a higher perspective. It is often used to mark the cycles of growth that lead to a higher state of being. Spiritually, it represents a path towards enlightenment or connection to an omnipresent being.

Hexagons are startlingly omnipresent in nature and their properties are somewhat awe-inspiring. It's a recursive symbol, a symbol of symbolism, of the universe's inherently symbolic order.

Each triangle is hand cut, matte finished and riveted to a tin backing plate. The final two rivets attach a triangular bit of waxed steel wire to the hexagon and a surgical stainless steel ear wire finishes the look.

The finished earrings are approximately 1.25". (30mm) wide and hang about 2.75" (68mm) from the ear. Each pair is one of a kind.

Each piece of metal comes to me having lived a previous life--in some cases multiple lives! It is not unusual for the material to sometimes have scuffs, scratches, faded portions, and general wear and tear.
