Introducing the ASI183 Camera Series

The ASI183 series represents the most sensitive cameras in ZWO's lineup, featuring a peak quantum efficiency of 84%. Designed for compatibility with small, fast ED doublets or triplet apochromats, this camera excels in short exposure times.

High-Speed and High-Quality Imaging

Utilizing the Sony IMX183 sensor, the ASI183 cameras feature a back-illuminated structure with a high resolution of 2.4 μm square pixels. The optical size is 1 inch, with a diagonal measurement of 15.86mm.

DDR Memory Buffer

The ASI183 Pro includes a 256MB DDR3 memory buffer that enhances data transfer reliability and minimizes amp-glow, especially when used with a USB 2.0 port.

Astrophotography Performance

With a large full well capacity of 15,000e and only 1.6e read noise, the ASI183 provides exceptional performance. It features firmware enhancements to minimize amplifier glow, optimizing it for astrophotography.
